It takes a lot of grit and determination for women to succeed. I’ve found it helps to be ready to adapt into various roles; to be a sponge and learn from peers and leaders. As women, we need to be confident and stand up for what we believe in. Do our homework and be prepared. And critically important: we need support one another.
We can’t succeed on our own. We must collaborate with others to create the best results. Due to the heritage of gender bias, the ability to develop powerful allies among female leaders, in particular, can be a powerful way to lessen obstacles to our success.
