Kate Butcher is a facilitator, coach and consultant with more than twenty years’ experience working in public corporations and non-profit and community organizations. With an MBA and a Masters in Leadership and Organizational Development, Kate is a results-orientated and people-centric leader with a passion and demonstrated track record for managing and leading teams of all sizes. She is known for spearheading successful change initiatives and unlocking both the business and people potential in complex systems.
Kate leads with an appreciative curiosity for people and organizations in order to get at the heart of systemic issues and move complex and challenging situations forward. She has worked with Logica BV, Sema Group, Digital, Rank Xerox, Microsoft and various not-for-profit organizations in the UK, Netherlands and US.
Kate was previously the Chief Learning Officer at Leadership Eastside, a not-for-profit organization that brings together leaders from diverse backgrounds to develop their leadership capabilities. She also co-facilitated classes and was responsible for engaging a skilled group of volunteer facilitators and team coaches to support the program.
Kate lives in Kirkland, Washington, with her husband Rob and beloved dog Molly. They are all very active in the local community. She re-energizes by being active outdoors, either walking the dog, hiking, swimming, snowshoeing, or snowboarding.
