BECAUZ provided Organizational Change Management, a comprehensive change leadership methodology, toolkit and process for meaningfully involving organizational members in determining the needed changes. Rather than taking a traditional leader-focused approach to designing and rolling out change, the leadership team invited managers, staff and vendors to explore and resolve critical issues.

Stakeholders were invited to proactively wrestle with their most important issues, allowing the leadership team to focus on providing the crucial resources, tools, clarity and support needed by members of the organization to actually land the changes.

A cornerstone of the approach was for the leadership team to hold one another accountable for modeling their shared values and guiding principles. As one team member said, “We have never led change like this before where we combined leadership development with getting actual work done.”

BECAUZ emphasized the importance of having the organization lead its own work rather than us doing the work for them. We challenged key leaders and their teams to see the complexity of the issues they faced, while simultaneously providing the tools and resources to move forward, including One-to-One Business Coaching.

The results were impressive: key issues were identified and addressed. Trust between team members and vendors grew measurably higher. Leadership increased its effectiveness, as the people closest to the day-to-day tasks learned new approaches for leading organizational change that were valued and embraced by everyone.

Change is not a one-shot deal, and it must be continually monitored and course corrected. As a result of the methodology, tools, and coaching we have received from BECAUZ, we see our next steps more clearly. We also know how to accelerate our work while also maintaining and enhancing an atmosphere of true collaboration and shared learning.
