OVERVIEW
This one-day Accelerator Program offers a transformational journey for women in leadership. The experience focuses on discovering who you are as a leader, your unique power, and the mark you want to make. We’ll consider a new definition of success—one that includes meaning, joy and personal well-being, in addition to money, status and achieving your goals. We’ll go beyond gender equality, recognizing that the marginalization of so-called “female leadership qualities” is harmful for female and male leaders—and for the health of the organization as a whole.
This highly experiential and interactive program focuses on four essential aspects of leadership.
What kind of leader do you want to be? What is the legacy you want to leave? Connecting to a larger goal that gives you meaning and purpose will enable you to inspire true followership.
- Who are you serving? What is the life you want to live?
- The experience of “flow”: find your personal groove
- Discover your own sources of inspiration
- Connect to the bigger picture: define your big dream and legacy
- Inspirational leadership: develop the ability to inspire others to join your journey
Many of us have experienced the negative use of power and the word itself-power-may have a negative connotation. But power is neutral. Power relates to the ability to impact and influence. If we’re aware of our power, we’re able to use it consciously for beneficial results.
- Discover and grow your unique personal power
- Overcome inner barriers to owning your voice
- Transform your inner critic into an ally
- Move from a reactive space to a creative space: grow self-awareness of your triggers
- Conscious leadership: develop the ability to impact a situation by choosing your response
We can’t succeed on our own. We must collaborate with others to create the best results. Due to the heritage of gender bias, the ability to develop powerful allies among female leaders, in particular, can be a powerful source of lessening the obstacles to your success.
- Define and grow your personal network
- Develop a support structure: mentors and sponsors
- Grow comfort with challenging conversations
- Engage in constructive conflict: build bridges while speaking your truth
- Land your message: own your power while maintaining relationship
How do you do it all? For many female leaders, that’s the question. We must consciously manage and nurture our energy levels. Get to know your own burn-out warning signals and learn to listen to them.
- Energy drainers vs. energy nurturers
- Findings from brain science: create your own “energy map”
- Overcome inner and outer barriers to managing your energy levels
- Stress and resilience
- Beyond “work-life” balance: managing polarities
